The huge video game convention known as BlizzCon returned to the Anaheim Convention Center this past weekend for their ninth year running. Hosted by video game company Blizzard, this convention focused on all things revolving the video game series of Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Heroes Of The Storm, and their newest series, Overwatch. As one of the pioneers of the massively-multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) genre, Blizzard has one of the largest shares of MMORPG players worldwide, and generates the most buzz in the video game industry. As such, this annual convention draws the attention of gamers worldwide, as gamers from around the world travel here for the weekend to see the latest from Blizzard. Like other huge events of this caliber (such as the San Diego Comic Con), BlizzCon sells out in minutes every year. Luckily, I managed to pull some strings and make my way in to the convention. Unfortunately, the event has a strict camera policy, so I could not take any photos inside the convention. Nobody stopped me from taking photos once outside though, so I lingered for a bit to snap photos of a few of the amazing costumes I encountered.
