Unless you know business owners, free parking barely exists in Downtown LA, although some meters only operate until 8pm. First-time visitors should attend with someone who has gone here prior.

After many weekends of other off-center 5k races, we now return to the style that started it all – the color 5k. Start your weekend off with an all-ages 5k run while getting color dusted in your face. Registration costs $50 per person, or $45 if registering with a team. All participants should wear white during the run to absorb and show off the most color. Participants should bring extra towels and spare clothes for the ride home.

It appears that people will do anything to break the mundane cycle of 5k runs. Introducing the Insane Inflatable 5K, a 5k obstacle course that takes you through inflatable obstacles. For those unfamiliar with Holi, if you have ran in a color run before, Holi takes the running part out of it, and adds music, dancing, and other activities, such as yoga. Most importantly – wear old clothes, and keep spare towels in your car.
