This annual local fair takes place at Peak Park in Buena Park every year on the third weekend of October. Free to park and enter, guests of all ages will enjoy rides, games, vendors, a food court, live entertainment, and more. Numerous contests that guests can participate in include arm wrestling, horseshoe-throwing, pie-eating, hog calling, baby, dogs, chili cook-off, and more. If arriving at night, know that Halloween Haunt traffic envelopes the park, so turning into the street from Knott Ave will take a long time. Once you turn into the neighborhood, the park’s parking lot has more than enough spots available.

Attracting seasoned and emergent visual artists, as well as participants from local high schools and universities, the 9th annual Belmont Shore Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest, presented by Justin Rudd and his nonprofit Community Action Team (C.A.T.), will showcase the works of diverse artists who will use chalk as their medium, and the sidewalks of Belmont Shore as their canvas. The contest costs nothing for amateurs to enter, so check the website for the registration link.

6th Annual Old Town Tustin Art Walk
