One of the west coast’s biggest all-ages bluegrass festivals returns this weekend in Ontario. The bluegrass music will go on all weekend so no one will miss a beat. In addition, attendees will find activities, contests, camping, raft-building, fishing, pedal boating, a playground, a zero-depth water play park, and a swim lagoon with water slides. Ticket prices vary depending on the attendee’s age, and how many days each attendee will visit the show. Single-day adult tickets cost $25 to $35, while a three-day pass costs $85. Children enter for $10 each, or $30 for all three days.

One of the world’s grandest stage for alternative lifestyles, the annual Ink-N-Iron Festival returns this weekend for the show’s FINAL year in Long Beach until they move to Nashville. Complete with live music, tattooing, custom cars, cabaret shows, circus acts, aerial acrobatics, a pin-up pageant, merchandise, and more, this all-ages festival covers everything for fans of punk rock, rockabilly, and other similar genres. Tickets cost $42.50 per day, or $80 for the weekend pass. Parking at the Queen Mary fills up incredibly fast and costs almost half as much as admission, so search for parking in Downtown Long Beach and take the free red Passport bus down to the Queen Mary.

This fun run takes the racing out of a 5k or 10k, and places participants in a running course where they will get showered with bright colors. All runners should wear white for this run, as they run through the course and absorb all the colors flying through the air. Registration for this color run costs $50 per solo participant, or $45 per person if registering as a team of four or more. Waves of runners will start at 9am and launch every few minutes following that for up to two hours, so do not fret about getting there on time.
