1st Annual Ye Scallywag Festival

Alcohol, punk rock, and pirates collide in this epic festival taking place this Saturday in San Diego. Co-organized by the founder of OC Brew Ha Ha, this festival will bring together some of the region’s top breweries and wineries, as well as some top names in punk rock and ska. General admission costs $55 and starts at 12pm. Early entry costs $65 and starts at 11am. Admission at the door will cost $10 more, if any tickets remain. All attendees receive unlimited beer or wine tastings while supplies last until 3pm. After 3pm, attendees will have to pay for drinks. The music will last all day until 7pm. Whereas other Oktoberfests charge you to enter then charge you for every beer you consume, LA Oktoberfest functions more like a beer fest. Guests pay $49 for admission to enter at 3pm, which includes a souvenir 1-liter stein and one complimentary beer fill. Each food item and additional beers cost $5 each. For $100, guests receive the VIP treatment – early entry at 1pm and unlimited beer pours. The fest ends at 5pm for all guests. For entertainment, LA Oktoberfest not only features the finest beer maidens serving beer, wine, cocktails, and more, but also live DJ’s, Bavarian dancers, accordionists, a silent auction, stein-holding contests, and more. Rancho Bernardo’s beer festival returns for its fifth year this week. Each day this week leading up to the festival, a nearby restaurant will offer special beer pairing dinners. Admission costs $40 for one person or $70 for two tickets, and comes with 15 tasting tickets and a souvenir glass. No one under 21 may attend.

San Fernando Fall Harvest Brew Festival
