The 7th Annual Unique LA Spring Show returns to the California Market Center in Downtown Los Angeles this weekend. As one of the largest independent designer shows in the nation, hundreds of artists, crafters, designers, cooks, bakers, mixologists, and more gather to exhibit and sell their wares to attendees. Unique LA emphasizes creativity in the United States, as every vendor hails from the United States and makes their products here. Taking place in the top floor penthouse, the show floor covers two full sides of the building, and the California Market Center consists of two buildings connected twice, looking like a hollow rectangle when viewing from the sky. Among the many food, art, apparel, and accessories vendors, some specialty vendors existed, such as cutlery or tupperware.

As one of the nation’s largest gatherings that caters to local independent artists and crafters, Unique LA grants an outlet to young entrepreneurs in a tough free market dominated by large corporations. The $10 admission allows for unlimited reentry for both days, and anyone buying presale online will receive a free tote bag. Guests over 21 can receive free cocktails, while all guests may receive other free drinks, like teas and waters. The show will also feature some of LA’s most popular restaurants and food trucks serving their delicious food. Parking directly at the venue costs $6, while nearby parking lots will range from $3-5. Stay on the trail of Unique LA by liking them on Facebook and following them on Twitter to find out what to expect at this show.
