The South Bay has turned into a formidable force in the craft beer industry, and they continue to rise as a powerhouse with the latest addition to the South Bay craft beer family, Phantom Carriage Brewery. As the first official production microbrewery in the city of Carson, Phantom Carriage has broken new ground by inching closer towards the stretch-of-no-beer that runs from Long Beach northward through a handful of cities all the way up to the San Gabriel Valley. Phantom Carriage opened their doors to the public this past Saturday, and boy did they get a massive turnout. The grand opening celebration lasted all day with a loaded lineup of brews on tap, and the tasting room remained full for much of the day. True to the name, Phantom Carriage has a dark, goth-like theme inside the tasting room – dim lights along with a general dark interior contributed towards the effect of an actual phantom carriage nearby.

Located between Downtown Los Angeles and Orange County, stop by the Phantom Carriage tasting room whenever you find yourself in this Southern California mecca. With a slight speakeasy vibe, Phantom Carriage will surely please anyone over 21.
