Numerous restaurants in Irvine will serve special prix-fixe menu offerings during Irvine Restaurant Week. Prices vary between restaurants, but some lunches start as low as $6.95 per person. No reservations required – simply show up and request the specials.

3rd Annual Pasadena Cheeseburger Week
January 12-17
40 Participating Restaurants, Pasadena

During this six-day period, 40 different restaurants, bars, pubs, and lounges in Pasadena will offer specials on their signature cheeseburgers, or will craft special items just for this week.

2014 OC Music Awards Showcase Series Night 2
6:30 pm – 10:30 pm, January 14

This free and all-ages show will feature some of the nominated musicians for the OC Music Awards. Each night features five different local artists performing and competing for the title of Best Live Band awarded at the OC Music Awards in March. This series of free shows occurs every Tuesday night all the way through the finals on February 25.

Almanac Beer Company – Tap Takeover @ The Factory

Meet the founders of Alamanac Beer Company from San Francisco this Wednesday night as they take over the taps at The Factory in the Bixby Knolls Neighborhood of Long Beach. Buy a sampler of four of their beers for $12, or buy a pint and take home their pint glass!

Saint Archer Brewing – Meet The Brewer

The brewing team from Saint Archer Brewing from San Diego will visit Beachwood Brewing in Downtown Long Beach this Wednesday night for a meet & greet. In addition, the team will bring at least six of their brews to serve on draft at Beachwood Brewing.

The Murder Junkies & Mentors @ Characters

See a mid-week punk rock show in Pomona this Wednesday night at Characters Sports Bar. Entry to this show costs $10. No one under 21 may enter. Guests can find plenty of free street parking around the venue.

Build Your Own Mac & Cheese Night

Beachwood BBQ, Seal Beach

Build Your Own Mac & Cheese Night returns to Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach this Thursday night! No reservations required – simply show up, get a table or seat at the bar, then customize your mac & cheese. Pick the toppings, herbs, cheese, sauce, meats, and pasta, and order a nice cold glass of craft beer.

Newport Beach Restaurant Week

This 10-day period of restaurant specials takes place at participating restaurants in Newport Beach. Many restaurants will serve special prix-fixe three-course meals ranging from as low as $10 to as high as $40, or more for a few select locations.

If you have not heard, The Doll Hut has returned to hosting punk rock shows, such as this one this Friday night. Entry to this shows costs only $3. No one under 21 may enter.

33rd Annual Asian American Expo

Celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year at this festival celebrating Asian American culture. Open to all ages, the $9 admission grants access to all vendor booths, merchandise, accessories, food courts, entertainment, live music, dance performances, a parade, petting zoo, and more.

SoCal Corgi Beach Day

4th Annual Lunar New Year Festival

Celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year at this family-friendly festival this Saturday in Pasadena. Visitors can expect to find arts & crafts, live entertainment, demos, galleries, food, and more. Hangar 24 Brewery’s Vinaceous Release Celebration
