This 10-day festival celebrates the prominence of craft beer in San Diego County. During these ten days, restaurants, bars, breweries, and other businesses will host special events and hold special deals all pertaining to craft beer. Escape From The Werewolf Village

This live puzzle event sees teams of up to six attempting to solve riddles and puzzles to escape from a village with hidden werewolves. Sessions will occur from 7:00-8:30, and 9:30-11:00. Admission costs $25 presale and $30 at the door. Arrive early to receive priority in choosing teams. Although an all-ages event, consider bringing adults with the knowledge necessary to crack the puzzles.

This one-day event takes place this Saturday in Pasadena. What started as an expo for designer toys and collectables has evolved into including apparel and accessories. Designer Con now features toys, apparel, art, crafts, and more, ranging from fine, traditional, modern, urban, and contemporary. Presale tickets cost $5, tickets at the door cost $7, while arrivals after 3pm cost nothing.

Just like how a beer fest allows guests to sample different types of beer, Wine Riot allows guests to sample different types of wines from all around the world. Wine experts will deliver seminars for both consumers and those in the industry. Live DJ’s, a photo booth, temporary tattoos, and more will adorn the venue space. Wine Riot occurs in two sessions: 1pm-5pm, and 7pm-11pm. Tickets currently cost $50 per person. Prepare to either pay for parking or arrive via public transportation.

14th Annual Japanese Food Festival

$60 nets you all-you-can-eat admission to this 4-hour Japanese food fest and a goodie bag. Guests will chow down on sushi, ramen, soba noodles, beef bowls, and more, while adults can sip sake, beer, shochu, wine, and more (alcohol not included with admission). During this time, a number of chefs will showcase cooking demos. The parking lot across the street normally costs $5 to park, but sometimes this price changes, so have cash ready.
